What to expect...
We meet every Sunday morning throughout the year at 10.30 at River Church, Pontllanfraith.
We want to make you feel welcome during your time with us, to be yourself.
You will find our address details and a map on our Contact us page. If driving, there is a car park adjacent to the church building or ample parking along Tram Road. The church is fully accessible - Please ensure the space directly outside of the church is left free to allow for wheelchair access. A friendly member of our welcome team will be awaiting to greet you on arrival. Feel free to grab a coffee before the meeting starts.
A brief welcome will be given, there will be announcements, and we start the meeting with prayer and worship led by our musicians. Feel free to sing along or watch and listen if you prefer.
Primary school children will be invited out to their own space at 11.00 at the rear of the building for age - appropriate activities, fun and learning, centred around Jesus, which is also available to children of the local community. There is also a creche facility at the rear of the church for babies and toddlers which is a welcoming space for parents to bring their little ones to play and still have access to the meeting through a screen and speakers.
Back in the main hall, the speaker will then give a bible - based talk on a certain topic or parts of the Bible that they feel called to discuss. This is followed by a further worship song and the meeting will be closed in prayer. The church is financed by regular giving from its members, guests are not asked to contribute money unless they wish to do so. After the meeting, refreshments will be available with lots of friendly people to get to know.
We look forward to welcoming you to River Church!
